Hello all.
My electric oven is about 15 years old. At the weekend, I burnt two items that I baked - a cake and a jam turnover. Both items looked fine on the top but when I took them out of the tin, they were black on the bottom. I have made these things countless times before with no problems and they were cooked at separate times with the oven switched off in between.
I have since cooked some fishcakes in the oven which were ok, although the oven wasn't on for as long.
Does anyone know what could be wrong with my oven, please?
