Can a vileda magic mop head be cleaned?

Just as the subject says really, I have a vileda magic mop www.vileda.co.uk/sponge-mops/Magic-Mop and it’s in need of a wash/replacement but unsure whether washing it may ruin it? What do you do with yours ?

Those are designed to be replaced every so often.

The sponge degrades and starts to hold more water and not effectively clean over time. So you need to pull mop head to side and unscrew it, screw on a new mop head and then push back between the bars.
