What is the best vacuum for cleaning stairs. I’ve never found anything that is actually that great apart from Henry and he is a pain to lug up and down

Pair of rubber gloves...
Gathers up all the pet /human hair. Then just needs a quick vacuum over..
*cleaner here!

@Easterbunnygettingready thank you Smile.
I can’t wait to try this - sounds so obvious and easy. I get so fed up with the stairs looking messy and want a quick fix. I’ll check it out tomorrow

My Shark vacuum cleaner is fabulous for stairs - you use the “Liftaway” button to remove the main body of the vacuum cleaner off the wand and disconnect the handle from the wand. Attach your tool of voice to the handle and away you go!

If you go to the www.ao.com website and search for Shark vacuum cleaners there are videos showing the liftaway feature and cleaning stairs. I find mine is lightweight- unlike my sister’s heavyweight Dyson!

I use my Miele with the attachment that looks like a hammerhead shark Grin I can almost do the whole staircase without lifting the body of the vacuum, I do the last few steps when I do the landing.

Shower/window squeegee. Does the same as rubber gloves. You have to put some elbow grease into it though - it can be quite a workout! I find using rubber gloves can get quite hot, literally heats up the rubber!
