Have Surf or Comfort recently changed their formula?

I've been using Surf washing powder (tropical lily, the pink one) and Comfort fabric softener (sunshiny days, the yellow one) for 5 or 6 years now, without any problems.

However, recently, DH has developed hives / blisters in his groin area (over the last three months, I'd say). He's never had any kind of eczema or dermatitis before. Many years ago, I developed a whole body rash when Persil changed their formula (mid-eighties), so he has my sympathies.

Does anyone know if either Surf or Comfort have recently changed their formula? I'm fine, so it's a bit of a mystery, as I'm the one with a history of contact dermatitis, which took a good couple of years to clear up.

Is anyone in the know, or suffering too? I am going to move onto Fairy non-bio, just to see if that improves things, but I'd welcome any other suggestions.

No one?

Update is that Fairy Non-bio seems to have done the trick. So if anyone is having problems with Surf or Comfort, it might be worth switching.

The surf powder gives me flu like symptoms (that lasts for days) whilst it's still in the box, in the boot of my car. Thank goodness I don't use it but I buy it for my aunt. She has serious dermatitis and I'm wondering if Surf powder is the culprit.
