Has anyone got any suggestions for a good astroturf cleaner? I have a dog and new artificial grass and don't want it smelling of urine!

I'm pretty sure any hardcore cleaner that will take the smell of dog piss away isn't going to be great for your dog.

Well that was the point of my original post to see if there was one that was safe for my pupSmile

Just had a google and Amazon sell something called pro Kleen which is apparently dog friendly, might be worth reading the reviews.

my next door neighbour has astro turf and two small dogs she gets the hose out on it and gives it a good soaking for about half an hour

When we moved our new house now has artificial grass and I foolishly left it absolutely ages before cleaning it. The best thing I've found is bio washing liquid in a garden sprayer, sweep with a stiff brush and then hose down. The pet friendly cleaners did nothing.

Ripping it up and getting proper grass? We are waiting for when turf is available to get rid of the disgusting plastic in the garden of our new house. If the covered in seagull poo!

Seagulls only shit on artificial grass so once you replace it with turf they will no longer shit on your grass Hmm

You can hose down artificial grass and cleans off remnants fox shit and dog poop easily. Also if you do hose it down it doesn't become a mud pit that your dog then brings into the house.
