Hi all, first time poster here!

I have a tan leather sofa, well, I say tan, but half of it is soooo dark and filthy it's basically dark brown! Blush My partner sleeps on it a lot (we have very different sleep patterns!) and where he has been sleeping has discoloured it so much as it's kind of greasy. I wish I could upload a picture to show you all... Does anyone have any tips for how best to clean this? I have tried this.... www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/leather-ultra-clean?gclid=Cj0KCQiA7YyCBhD_ARIsALkj54rPf8tgMtvxsfOLahEM3ZH44K-PulmdCljrH_oxGZaHiObCWeECpPwaAlwZEALw_wcB but it doesn't seem to have done anything. 😭 I was thinking about using fairy liquid, but have heard mixed opinions on whether to use this. Any advice would be appreciated!

a bar of johnsons baby soap
pop it in a washing up bowl of warm water
use a nice clean cotton dishcloth and make it soapy and then rub. keep rinsing the cloth, changing the water as necessary.
then go over with a cloth wrung out in clean water. let it dry naturally

Thank you! I will give that a go! This may sound silly, but I can only see Johnson's honey baby soap online... Will this still be ok?!

I don't know. I only ever use the basic one.
You can buy it in most supermarkets.

I just use shampoo one with coconut oil in, put it in a bowl with warm water and with a micro cloth and elbow grease, give it a good wash, may have to do the dirty bits a few times. Then from home bargains I got a can of bee wax leather conditioner spray, cheap as chips works really well, makes the leather look great.
