Persil no bio and how much to use

I'm using persil non bio, have done for years as my children suffer with bad skin.
The problem I have is that I've bought a new machine and clothes are bobbling quickly/looking worn.
Not sure if I should be using less or more, in a hard water area.
If you use it too could I ask how much you tend to use for a half load? If the stated dose or less?
Or maybe it's too much comfort used? I use a full cap full regardless the load. But fine before.
Any advice useful Smile

I've no useful advice and will be watching with interest; I bought a new washing machine a couple of weeks into the first lockdown and have found I don't need to use as much powder as I did with my previous machine which was 10 years old. I rarely use fabric conditioner.

I would use about half as much for half a load.
