How much in terms of cleaning do you managed a day with housework

I have 4 small children and sometimes don't get much done

I try to do hoovering daily
Wipe around the kitchen washing loads

Things like skirting boards and polishing seem to be less often

No DC but four shedding pets here!

I vacuum daily, sometimes twice if the cats have chucked more litter everywhere in the meantime.

Dishes after meals, so three times a day normally. Our kitchen is tiny so we don't have a dishwasher or the space to let things pile up. After a meal for two adults the sink is pretty full to bursting Grin

The bathroom is sprayed around 2-3 times a week and wiped down after. Toilet cleaned a similar number of times. I often wipe around the sink after brushing my teeth in the morning.

Beds made daily and sheets changed weekly. Towels washed weekly as are the throws on the sofa, otherwise they start to smell of dog!

There are two methods for cleaning skirting boards: the first is to let small kids clean them as a treat and ooh and ahh at how dirty they can get the cloth. The second is to polish them with your socks while hoovering.

I wipe the skirt boards over with a damp e-cloth while I'm talking on the phone.
