Spin mop Twin bucket

LadyEloise · 01/03/2021 12:14

I recently bought a My Home Spin Mop Twin Bucket System.
I'm having a problem getting the mop on to the plastic thingy in the bucket to spin after washing the floor.
Has anyone else got one and if so did you have this problem and if so what is the solution ( if you found one ) please ?
I know it's only £20 but it's annoying if I have to just throw it out- which is also damaging to the environment.

I sorted it. I had locked something in to place. Blush

I've just seen that the mop head IS NOT machine washable. 😩
Who wants a mop you have to wash by hand ( it says rinse by hand Shock) !!!!!

What’s the mop head made of?.

LadyEloise · 03/03/2021 16:57

Some synthetic stuff. I put in the washing machine. Life's too short to be hand washing a dirty mop.

I've seen this and wondered about buying one.
Would you recommend it?

We’ve got the vileda one, it’s bloody brilliant!

@IHaveBrilloHair
Would I recommend it, you ask.
I always base my answer on would I rebuy it.
Tbh I'm not sure.
I have a Shark steam mop but wanted something quick and light ( the Shark is heavy ).
If I didn't have a steam mop, yes I would buy it again.
The Addis dual bucket one with ordinary mop is less of a palaver.
