Would a robot hoover cope with long haired dog?

Hi,
I'm wondering if any of you have got a robot hoover and a dog breed that moults a lot of long hair, and whether it is suitable for that or not?
I currently use a pet hoover from argos which I am having to use daily, but wondered whether in between daily hoovering's a robot hoover could go round for me, to keep on top of the shedding?

Thanks :)

I have two Border Terriers & the roomba goes on everyday in the main rooms and does an excellent job - I love it.

Don’t know how it would cope with long hair but it is genuinely one of the best purchases I’ve ever made

I've got a cocker spaniel, soooo hairy.
Robovac copes just fine, and with my hair which also moults - although I do have to strip the roller brush out after it's done my bedroom / upstairs.

How does dog get on with the other vacuum cleaners? Do they have shared interests?

Perhaps you could introduce them over lunch and see how it goes 😁

Sounds good. Definitely going to treat myself to one I think, should make things easier to keep on top of.

I have a rough collie (like lassie) who is very hairy and sheds ridiculous amounts of hair. The roomba certainly helps but the brushes do need cleaning very frequently.

We have a terrier and a cat so both short hair, but both are big shedders. My Eufy absolutely sorts it out and I don't think my house has ever been this clean. Absolutely love it.

One thing - when I was buying mine, research suggested a bigger concern to take into account is carpet thickness. So if you have deep pile carpets, you probably need to spend more.

One very massive, very hairy springer. 25kg with allergies that means he is moulting like mad right now.

The roomba is doing a lovely job Grin

The house still needs a manual once over at the weekends - more of a deeper clean. But the roomba every day makes a massive difference.

Sounds like its going to be really helpful, fingers crossed we will be ordering one this weekend, can't wait!
