Need firm pillows

poppyzbrite4 · 23/02/2021 14:37

My pillows are really grubby now and yes, it's foul but I can't find nice firm pillows. I don't want bricks, or those flat ones but nice plump, firm ones.

I don't want bounce back ones either. I keep wasting money on pillows that are meant to be firm and your head sinks into them.

Any advice?

IKEA have some pillow-shaped memory foam ones, but with shredded foam rather than it being a brick.

You might like latex

poppyzbrite4 · 23/02/2021 14:44

Do you have them? (Thank you btw). Are they nice and firm? I''m very wary now.

We've got these Wilko memory foam ones - love 'em!

I am aware of how my OP sounded Grin I think latex is very expensive. I've checked out the Ikea ones and a reviewer has actually said that they found them too firm, so that's sounding promising!

Dunelm “feels like memory foam” are fab. They are nice and firm but soft enough to be comfortable

DH has the IKEA one. I prefer the more structured brick-like orthopaedic pillows. He likes that one and stacks it with squishy feather ones to get a bit of everything.

The Wilko ones look promising too. Will also take a look. Ty

Dunlopillo are highly recommended

stodgystollen · 23/02/2021 14:50

They're firm enough to prop up your arse too, if latex is required Wink

I don't like the memory foam ones, I like feathers, and I have the firmest from IKEA...but mine really need replacing, and I don't know if they're anywhere near as firm as they were when I bought these ones too long ago to admit to in public even anonymously

I hear you! I am too ashamed to admit it as well but! I have been trying for a while to replace them and have a nice pile of awful pillows to show for my pains. Can't send them back.
