Morning All

I'm limiting my time on here today, I spent rather a lot of yesterday flicking on and off, and went to bed with a migraine last night (probably unrelated but I have a fuzzy head today as a result)

No idea what to do today...quick tidy round and then I might go for a walk and get some fresh air. We might also go to the pub this evening to watch some fireworks...see how we get on.

Have a good day all xx

evening all

Hope you are all having a relaxing Sunday. We have had friends round for lunch and then we went on a lovley walk through the copse near where we live. it was great fun kicking all the leaves. What stunning colours.

Bianca Please can I have the fridge cake recipe - please

Luda Dolphins - wow

gibbersh we live 5 mins from the sea - we are so lucky we live on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. we actually went to whitby yesterday though.

Tort Fingures crossed re the washer, we had to give in and get a new one 2 months ago - managed to get 6 months intrest free credit

I have yet to put a wash on and then it is bath night for me, so I think a long soak and a goos book is in order.

Hello TMSH
Sounds as though you've had a lovely day.

I love this bright autumn weather - really gorgeous with all the colours in the trees etc. It could well be my favourite time of year.

Fridge cake =
8oz digestive buscuits
5oz plain choc
5oz milk choc
5oz golden syrup
3.5 oz unsalted btter
2.5 oz raisins
3.5oz dried apricots

Line a 20cm shallow dish with cling film, leaving extra cling film hanging over the sides.
Put digestive buscuits in a bag and bash them (favourite part for ds today ) Empty from bag into a bowl.
Melt choc, butter and syrup in a bowl over a pan of simmering water
Add choc mixture to broken biscuits and dried fruit and stir together.
Spoon mixture into lined dish and level out.
Leave to cool in fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
Turn out the cake and peel off cling film.
Cut into slices.
Enjoy

I love fridge cake! I use Glace cherries in ours.

DD's are in bed. DS's bath is running.

Have promised DD1 that i will ask if her friend can come play on Tuesday after school so i must do as much tidying as i can tomorrow. Picking up the bike Tuesday. DD2 will have to miss pre-school because i won't be back in time to pick her up.
