JML Copper Stone Pans

LadyEloise · 14/02/2021 11:48

I need a new frying pan.
Has anyone got one of the JML copper stone pans ?
Are they really non stick and long lasting ?
They are much more expensive - €40- than the usual pan I'd buy so need your honest opinion.
Thank you in advance.

I've got one. Was given it for christmas by my MIL who waxed lyrical about it. I must admit, initially I was sceptical but I having used it extensively I am now a convert!

I've been really impressed by mine and have since added the wok to my collection. The non stick is very good, and on the rare occasion where something does stick, it is very easy to clean. Because it doesn't have a non stick coating you can scrub it if you ned to.

The thing that impresses me most is that you can really feel the heat coming off of it. it's a weighty pan that feels built to last.

Argos and asda both stock them and have occasional offers

I have the older black version - Regis in 3 frying pans and a wok and they are fab - lasted about 2yrs so far, no sign of any wear. The non stick is truly non stick and yes you can feel the heat!

Scrambled eggs are now a pleasure- very very easy to clean!

I bought a copper one though not a JML one. Non stick lasted 2 months. Handle broke off after 4 months.

Apparently to maintain the non stick it's all in the cleaning.

Don't put them in the dishwasher. Some non stick pans claim to be dishwasher safe, but they last longer if you hand-wash them.

Thank you
