Would AO stack a washing machine and dryer if I purchase installation ?

Hi,
Our old washer dryer died this weekend and since we wanted to buy something better for a while decided to buy a washing machine and a separate tumble dryer from samsung with a stacking hit.
We purchased installation for both items. But I was now wondering.. are they going to stack both or will they refuse?

It's a pretty tight utility room so unfortunately it's not something I can ask someone for help ..

I have ordered from AO.com twice in the last few months and found their installation service to be very good but haven't done this. Have you rung them to ask about it?

We placed the order today so I'll have to wait until Monday to figure it out!!

I asked on their online assistant (initially answered by a bot, but managed to get through to an actual person). I spent ages trying to get an answer to a similar question about what installation actually meant re a tumble dryer, and when the delivery guys arrived it turned out I'd been given totally the wrong info. Worth a try asking before they arrive, but I wouldn't take whatever you're told as gospel!

They will call you a day or two before your delivery to reconfirm all the details (how many stairs there are etc) so that would be the time to ask - I'd hope that as you've including a stacking kit in your order they will do it. If they say no, you could have a problem. In that case I would tell the person on the phone that stacking is not essential, then offer the delivery guys cash to do it when they get there. They may still say no though - I asked mine if I could pay them to change the new fridge's door to open the other way and they said they didn't have time. They are on pretty tight schedules! Do you have a handyman you could call as a backup?

Did you order the stacking kit from them too? If so then I would just ring and ask but it will require two reasonably strong people to do this. It probably goes beyond basic installation.

We have a stacking washer and drier and it is a real PITA when it needs unstacked/stacked but this may be due to the fact the utility is a really tight space and there are built in cupboards at both sides and over the top. My back is too dodgy/I'm too weak to help.
