Tumble dried a crayon

"Somehow" 🙄 a crayon made it's way into my toddler's laundry and now his clothes (the nice bits we've been gifted, typically) are covered in big green blobs. Haven't tried much yet other than vanish powder and water pre-treat and that failed. Any idea how to get this out? Thanks!!

I’d be tempted to treat it like any other wax. Scrape off as much as you can. Use an iron over kitchen roll to lift the rest and then washing up liquid rubbed in or a stain devil if that’s not enough!

Put the affected clothes in the freezer and when frozen, pick off as much wax as you can.

Then use an iron on a low heat to remove the rest (kitchen paper over the wax, tea towel over the paper and then hold the iron over to melt). The kitchen towel should absorb the wax. You may need to keep moving to a clean bit of paper and repeat several times.

Unfortunately, the colours in the wax might stain, but once all the wax is off you can try conventional stain treatments. Also sunlight is good for stain removal (put clothes spread out on windowsill if weather isn't good enough to hang them outside).
