Struggling to find a nice bedding set. Found a lovely one in next but it says don’t tumble dry. This is the link/“:

It’s made of polyester and cotton and has a few teeny tiny sort of sequins in it?

I'm no expert but I imagine the heat from the tumble may take the glue of the sparkles off if they aren't stitched and may warp the sparkles even if they are.

The sequins will shrivel up.

Ok thanks. Quite quickly or over time do you think? I really like it and I’m gutted as I can not find a nice set I really like. In the summer I don’t tumble dry, it would just be the winter due to all of space to dry it inside.

I think it would happen the first time you tumble it.

BaronessBomburst · 11/02/2021 14:37

Does your tumble dryer have a cool or cold setting? That should be fine.

Dogwoes1 · 11/02/2021 15:28

@BaronessBomburst yes it does have a couple of low heat settings. I have never used them, I’m guessing it would just take longer to dry as it won’t get hot?

Yes, it will take a bit longer. I dry quite a few non -tumble dry items on cooler settings. It's just like line drying on a cold, windy day.

Ok brilliant thanks.
