I'm looking for a winter weight Duvet but with a fixed cover. DS (SN) often needs his bedding washed so I often bundle the whole thing plus cover in the washing machine as is. I always end up untangling it and the duvet after many washings has finally died.
I was thinking cant see the point of a separate cover and duvet. Doesn't have to be a duvet necessarily but does need to be warmer than a blanket and very washable. I'm not sure what I'm goggling, an eiderdown? Can anyone help

CrotchetyQuaver · 08/02/2021 18:37

They had some in Costco when we went yesterday

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 08/02/2021 18:39

M & S definitely have them. Not sure what tog rating though. IIRC they had one with a teddy fleece outer.

Hazelnutlatteplease · 08/02/2021 18:50

Oh! A teddy fleece would be perfect!! That is what he has currently!! Why I couldn't fine that online! (Shielding currently so needs to come to us)

I was hovering over the fine linen company but lovely grey has the less lovely yellow stripe!

Oh gosh. They did have them, I hope they still do!

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 08/02/2021 19:58

I can't find it either. Sorry if I've unfairly raised your expectations. Sad

Hazelnutlatteplease · 08/02/2021 20:25

It's no worries! The Fine Bedding company one will do the job in the short term. I can keep an eye open in the long run for a teddy version in the real shops when were out of lockdown. Its handy to have a spare with DS!

Well spotted Mrs Etobe.
