BOOOOOOO!

Happy Halloween

As you can imagine the kids were up at the crack of dawn scuttling about looking for their costumes! (I've managed to sit them down and have breakfast. DD1 is already drawing pictures of bats to put on the windows!

Well, I have to give the house a thorough tidy, as we will have people in and out all day, and the guinea pigs need doing too.

yadd have a good day.

Just going to get ready now. I plan to dress as a witch when I get back.
Have a great day all.x

BiancaCastafiore · 31/10/2007 08:58

Back from school run. Went on the bikes for the first time in a while, need to get back on track with exersize cos my weight loss has stopped overthe past couple of weeks.

I need to ~
~collect car from garage (passed its MOT - yay!)
~do my hour or two helping at the school
~pop to the shops/bank etc
~quick tidy round downstairs
~make spooky jelly

I've been thinking babies all night and am really seriously considering another. One my my worries is what other people will think...stupid I know...I'm the typical mum whose kids are both and school and who is replacing them with another. Although the reality is that I have been thinking about a third for a couple of years, it's dh who has never been so bothered ..and it has to be a joint decision. We always said we'd have two, not three....
Not sure what to do...go with my head or my heart?

BiancaCastafiore · 31/10/2007 08:59

sorry, most of my last post was unrelated to FLYing

TheMadScaryHouse · 31/10/2007 10:01

Good morning all

BOOOO to you all too

I have done morning routine, but am waiting in today for a delivery with the boys so the house will end up messier than it started no doubt.

Bianca What is wtong with three children - you may have planned two, but you are allowed to change your mind. We always said four, but after 5 m/c's, 2 very hard pregnancy's including a major op at 20's with DS1 and then hospitalisation after DS2 and another m/c in August, we would love more, but although the mind is willing the body is not and we have been advised to not for my sake.

I think it would be lovley to have the older two at school and then start all again with another 2 - That is why I am MADScary

ludaghoul · 31/10/2007 10:06

bianca no one will think that!! (well no one worth bothering with anyway)
I know that you have been thinking about another...infact I have known you a good year now, and you have always spoken of it.

I think your dh will be ok...maybe you should sit down with him and tell him how serious you are

[slightly excited emoticon]

Well guinea's are all sparklingly clean...I have disinfected their little cage inside and out and washed their bowls and things, and DD1 has brushed them
(they are right by the front door so they will be a halloween fright all on their own if they aren't nice and clean!!!)

Rest of the house to do now!

SPOOKY HALLOWE'EN to you ALL

DH back to normal...ah well, never mind.

Ed has the PTA disco tonight. He's so looking forwarfds to it. I did his pumpkin for the window last night as I know time will be limited today.

Oh, cracking one from DH this morning...rings up to tell me his filling has fallen out in a toffee (Toffee...before 9:30?...Heveh help us!) and can I sort it out...what? We're out of polyfilla, I don't rate super glue for heavy duty repairs and I don't have a dremel...So he's joining me on my appointment tomorrow. Honestly, can't have anything to myself (cept the nasty chores)

Done so far

Up
Downstairs with washing and Ed
Start breakfast (Sultana and banana porridge)
Empty DW
Put away
Serve breakfast
Load and run WM
Up stairs, get washed
Wash Ed
Get dressed
Help Ed to dress
Take him to school
Home
Vac up
Arrange dental appointment
Make Ed's bed
Find his wizard's outfit
Online banking

To do

Collect Ed
Lunch
Prep tea for reheating after disco
General pottering and FLYing

Whooooooooooooooh to everybody xx

ludaghoul · 31/10/2007 10:19

Madhouse...oh gosh...you have been through the mill!!! My neighbour had a very difficult 4th labour and she won't be able to have more now...even though she would love another.

GO LOL...can't even go the dentist on your own...I know how that one feels!!

OP posts:
ludaghoul · 31/10/2007 10:24

I have just added a photo of a picture my DD1 has just handed me

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 31/10/2007 10:38

can't see the pic Luda Is it on your Ludaloo profile?
TMSH poor you, you've had a rough time of it.

I am feeling increasingly serious about number 3 - and dh knows it. I asked the kids last nigt how they'd feel about another baby - dd was very excited, until I mentioned there was a chance it'd be another brother - then she decided she wants another kitten instead! Ds seemed quite happy with the idea until dd suggested the kitten then he wanted another kitten too They all need a bit more work I think...

Luda I feel that excited emotion too! .... may not happen though...

I have collected the car, made the spooky jelly and been to one set of shops to collect some treats for this evening (we now have a friend for supper too)

Off to do my stint at school next.

See you all later x

BiancaCastafiore · 31/10/2007 10:44

Ohh Jas the (well wrapped) parcel you sent has just arrived, thank you very much

ludaghoul · 31/10/2007 10:52

OP posts:
TheMadScaryHouse · 31/10/2007 11:39

It has been hard yes, but I have two fantastic boys and a wonderful DH (gushing emomtion) and I have to be happy with my lot.

Both the boys came out relativly unscathed, it just seems that I have a prob staying pregnant, although can get preg a the drop of a hat.

But I love babies and can not wait for some of my friends to have some more

yaddayah · 31/10/2007 12:04

luda can't see it !!
bianca I really don't think anyone would judge you for having another baby when you're others are at school! Why on earth would they.. several of my ds's year 1's mums are definately TTC .. I think its lovely (not that i'm in the faintest bit broody .. two is plenty for me .. (touches all manner of wood)You need to have a serious talk with your DP.
madscary you talk sense !
grouchy sorry had to laugh at polyfiller!
ehm are you going out in daylight dressed as a witch ??

done list
Shopping (birthday presents for friends dc's)
Morning routine
Tesco online shopping for next week
Bath and hairwash/detangle for dd
Had lunch

Off to deliver dd to nursery so I can have a joyous time ironing in front of crap daytime tv
(speaking of which did anyone see Heather Mills on GMTV this morning .. crikey !

BBL

EvilHM · 31/10/2007 12:27

yadd pmsl you are very observant I look like a witch most days...I should have said that I plan to dress Ellie up as a witch when I return.

My little Pumpkin is presently napping poor wee thing after a upsetting swimming class. New class & new pool(2 kids in the class one of which is ellie?) She didn't appear to like the teacher, who went into a thought rather quickly lots of submerging At our last class we usually ducked them beneath the water about twice during the lesson. I afraid I've now scared her for life I refused to do this after a couple of attempts. She has never been this upset ever during swimming

Right sorry for the ramble I just a bit unsure about the whole thing now

bianca Never worry about what people think, its your life & your body. Chat with Dh. I'd love lots of kids too, we have our next appointment at the clinic on 15th Nov to discuss sibling/siblings.(still have 6 frozen embryos) Just think we could be pregnant at the same time how lovely would that be?
madscary you've sound like you have had a tough time baby wise, sorry to hear that.

Righto off to make my wee pumkin macaroni cheese. Also make something for tea tonight.

EvilHM · 31/10/2007 12:28

luda I can't see it either

FunkyGlassSlipupandyouredead · 31/10/2007 12:41

TMSH - sounds like it has been hard work!
Bianca - talk to DH. My DH and I have agreed no more at the moment but we'll look again in a few years. When DD2 is about 3/4. Not sure I want another though.

gibberish · 31/10/2007 12:45

I feel very out of it these days - only usually get on last thing when everyone is gone and end up talking to myself then by morning you have all forgotten about me
