Stained chair - help please, pic attached!

Hello!

Somehow a very special chair that DH was given for a big birthday has been stained. I can only imagine this is from a leaking water bottle in my bag, and if so, must now have been dry for a week or so. We've only just noticed it!

How can we fix? I'm pretty sure it's water. No smell and kids insist they haven't been near it with drinks.

Any advice much appreciated!

Have a look at Nancy Birtwhistle’s dryish clean. She uses suds to deal with upholstery stains to great effect. Just google it and there’s a video to show you.

I've tried the method for upholstered chairs - will report back once dry!
