Ladies I have a Smeg dishwasher which is 3 years old and has no extended warranty . It is playing up and though I have checked the water supply in and out and the electricity and cleaned the filter it still won't work I turn it on and it thinks about it, makes a noise as if it is about to start but then cuts out. It has no flashing lights showing just solid lights as you go through the programmes. I am sure it has done this before and I resolved it but my pregnant brain won't let me remember . In a panic as we have a house full of people arriving in a couple of days. Thanks so much for any suggestions! Smeg have given me the number of a "local" engineer but the company is actuallt miles away!!
