My mum maintains that the reason I can't spell is a 'new way' of learning to read was trialled in the early 70's (72/73?) which was then scrapped cos it was crap

Could do with a health rug atm - I'm all germ ridden & horrid

Well i can think of better things to be doing on a hearth rug on your hands and knees but that's a whole other thread .

I probably would have enjoyed it more as well
