Flat bottom non stick wok

Any recommendations on a non stick wok with a flat bottom? I have had mine for 2 years and it’s lost its non stick.

This thread is quite old now, but we’ve recently refreshed our best wok guide with plenty of high-quality non-stick products recommended by Mumsnetters. We hope you find it useful.

This one - I have all the pans and they are so easy to clean. You can also buy a lid separately

I have this Scoville Neverstick Performance wok and it is brilliant. I also have the casserole dish and frying pan in this range.

I will say that cooking at very high temperatures isn't great for non stick coatings though, so I have a carbon steel wok that is ideal for stir fries because it is made to withstand really high temperatures.

I gave up buying non-stick woks years ago tbh because they don't last long. It's not hard to season a non-non-stick one,and then thet become non-stick and virtually indestructible. I've had mine for over a decade.

Ginfordinner: Scoville Neverstick is what I have now! The pans were great at first, now they stick. I have spoken to Scoville and they said that if the bottom of the pan is browned, then the heat was too high. I still cannot see how frying pans and woks can be used for their intended purpose without higher heat.... so the guarantee is useless really.

Lazylinuist: do you have an elec or gas hob?

I totally agree with you @Anon247. I had a simliar discussion with Circulon about the same thing. They also said that for very high temperatures required for stir frying that non stick wasn't suitable because it wasn't made for those kind of temperatures.

Scoville do three ranges, and I have the Performance Neverstick + which is supposed to be slightly more non stick than the Neverstick.

For really high temperature stir frying I use my carbon steel wok which I have seasoned.
