Hi all - thinking about getting a potato ricer - recommended by a friend - I’ve you tubed it as I didn’t know how they work - my only concern is as a big family - will I get all the spuds through the masher before they go cold? Does anyone have one and is it worth it?
Are there any other recommendations? I just got myself a veg chopper and omg that it a life changer!!! Smile

Pan strainer - I unashamedly stole mine from my Dad (in mitigation he lived a lot closer to Lakeland), but I see they're cheap but not as deep at The Range

I stopped using my potato ricer because it made a mess- mashed potato everywhere! Also difficult to clean. But that could just be my one.

I threw my masher away. Far too fiddly for me ,

I just use my electric mixer to make mashed potatoes. Works a treat.

Hand held blender. I make my mash with this.

Jam-maker's funnel (has a very wide mouth). I bought this in a very off-hand casual way, prob because it was very cheap. It turns out I use it every day, for transferring things into storage jars. I would feel lost without it now.
