Scrubbed a patch of oil out of my oak floor

Can someone recommend what I put on the patches ? It looks bleached where I cleaned it as it had some food stains from baby weaning. It's oiled oak, but I don't know what as we didn't buy the floor. I usually only spray mop with bona wood cleaner weekly.

If it’s oiled I would try some danish oil on it, you can buy it from any hard wear shop. I am not sure that you will get rid of the marks unless you sand it and then oil. I would probably just rub the danish oil in to protect the wood and lift the colour and then at a later stage have the entire floor sanded and re oiled.

@Mixingitall thanks the stains lifted but I think because I used washing up liquid it stripped the oil. I believe it's engineered wood, so I don't think you can sand it.

You’re welcome. It may not be perfect but will at least protect the floor. I periodically oil the entire floor. The best time to do it is in the evening and then not walk on the floor for 12 hours.
