Recommendation for Wax Melts

Can anyone recommend some decent wax melts that actually last?
I use mine in three separate tea light burners with unscented 8 hour burn candles (though they are paraffin I believe). I pop the recommended amount of Mehta in but after half an hour, an hour at the most the scent is gone. All I can half smell is candle.
My house is super clean with fresh air let in often etc etc. I don't really like plug ins or diffusers but really like the look of candle light and again find scented candles dont last.
I've tried Cheshire Melts and Devon Wick as well as Scentsationals from the supermarket. Thank you!

I recently bought some Ava May ones and they smell really gorgeous,I bought a selection pack.

Usually I use Yankee candle melts which seem to last pretty well.

I use Freckleface melts. They last for ages.

Thank you, I'll have a look at both of those. I have tried Yankee Candles a good while ago so may have to try them again.

I like the Pretty Boo ones.

Yankee are great, even though people get snobby about them.
I did a Goan curry yesterday and a wax melt in the hall meant dh didn't know Grin he usually says he can smell it before he puts his key in the door!

@SuperHighway just ordered some from freckleface. Lovely website!

You won't be disappointed. I bought the winter selection in early Dec and I've only used 5 of the melts so far. I met the owner at a Christmas gift fair 3 years ago and I've used them ever since.

I'm going to order from all your recommendations thank you! Do you use the tea light burners or electric ones can I ask?

I find electric burners a but more potent than tea lights.
I order from a site called Uno Lusso, I really like their melts. I bought two boxes with a variety and my favourite one is Havanna Nights. They smell very expensive and I re-burn them a few nights and still smell nice.
(I am not affiliated with them in any way)

Recently gathered up all left over candles and remelted them over a pan.
Poured into ice vide trays and put in the freezer overnight...
Wax melts!!

I’ve got an electric burner but don’t really use it as I think it’s a bit ugly and no where to really put it because of where my plugs are.
When I bought the Ava may melts I bought one of their burners (I had some Xmas money to use)

angieloumc · 21/01/2021 09:08

Yes Bingowin I wondered where I'd put one and wondered about a plug in one that sits like a plug in air freshener but can't seem to find a decent one.
I tried a Yankee Candle one again last night, it did seem to be a bit better than the others but I think they're paraffin based.

I was really impressed with the Momo Candles Christmas Spice melts I bought I few weeks ago. I found them on ebay when browsing through the wax melts listings. I keep the cotton bag they came in hanging in my hallway and I can smell them without even burning one.
