Much as I loathe it, I have to do it sometimes and our Rowenta dx9301 which was highly recommended by Good Housekeeping is in truth shitty shite and piddles boiling water everywhere...
ironing is bad enough without that little hazard...
So we need a new one
NOW.
under £70 pref unless it is truly 1 yr plus of loyal service and the mutts nutts.

Not massive ironing loads here, bits of school uniform, dp's work shirts and trousers, bit of bedding...

I got a philips azur FWIW as recommended by MIL... mistress extraodinaire of fabric care...
but dp has done all the ironing such is his love of new gadgets...

with that result, Id be buying a new hoover next week.

I didnt see this thread, but cant remember what make my iron is anyway. Hell, Id better check its still in the cellar, dont want it to disappear in AP's luggage, she is the only one who irons in this house (her own stuff, not ours).
