Would you class this as mixing chemicals?

If you used a mop and bucket filled with bleach to clean the floors, then you emptied the bucket, rinsed your mop with plain water. Then you fill the bucket back up again but put zoflora in instead if bleach and used the same mop.. Would you still say this is mixing chemicals? Asking as at work, someone didn't tell me they used bleach and I used the mop that had bleach on it with zoflora. It was quite pungent and made my throat burn but that's probably just me being over the top.

Nah, I'd consider that to be fine! (And I'm quite anxious about such things).

Zoflora’s active ingredient is benzalkonium chloride which contains nitrogen. When mixed with bleach nitrogen-containing chemicals causes the bleach to substitute chlorine atoms onto the nitrogen, forming reactive and gaseous species called chloramines, which are lachrymators and can damage pulmonary tissues.

You’re not imagining the feeling in your throat.
