Mouse in the house - nothing works its driving me crazy

I have spent about £50 on the following

16 mouse traps
10 stick mouse traps
2 different types of mouse poison

There are mouse dropping under the bed, the mouse has even chewed the carpet in the corner and part of the corner of the door. I even found some in the kids wardrobe.

There are droppings next to the traps.

I have used peanut butter, chocolate, pretzels, toffee.

Nothing works. I have yet to catch one - but with droppings everywhere I assume there must be more than one?

What can I do. I am going insane. Please can someone help.

Regardless of others opinions, i would put down poison.

Maybe a borrowed dog on a lead would take you to where they are coming out from.

Have you tried the boxes? What people use outside? Put it where ever the droppings are.

I would too. I had a problem once and I couldn’t stay in the house.

Ohhh and you need to find out how they are getting inside your house @Ahmawa

When we had mice under our floor boards these little plugin things did the job in our house. They let off a high pitched noise only rodents can hear.

They go somewhere warm and dry. If there are droppings under the bed, I would be worried they were in the mattress. Envy (not envy). Check the mattress for any holes.

We had some in our old house. They got into bags of clothes kept in the cupboard underneath the stairs. All the bags went in the bin, didn't dare look inside them. We put poison down and caught two. Never had any more problems after that. But we kept poison down and used one of those plug in noise things just in case.

It was an old house with fields at the back. I'm not surprised they got in.
