Over the last few years my house has got in a worse and worse state. Since December I've been trying to get on top of it and it's looking so much better.

This morning I went to clean a corner of a room that has been left for ages, it was covered in creepy crawlies. Where do I start?! I pulled out an old leather computer bag (that has a laptop in it) that had a large spider and lots of little moving white things on it. I don't really want to lose bag but don't mind if it gets slightly damaged. I don't know what creepy crawlies are. They are very small. Was thinking of leaving it outside for an hour then cleaning it with bleach. Anyone got any better ideas?

Take the bag outside and give it a good wipe or brush.
Wipe it with a damp cloth with soapy water wrung out of it to get it as clean as you can. let it dry, then wipe with white vinegar. Let it dry again.
Apply leather restorer.

You could use saddle soap if you have some.
