Is there such a thing as a tasteful Nest of Tables?

Have you got one?

I'm feeling the need for some small tables in our front room but "nest of tables" makes me think of my gran's house.

Has anyone seen anything a little more, erm, modern?

I have some clear acrylic ones which are modern .. have had them years though - I think they were from someone like ocean or dwell

Boogalooblue · 26/10/2007 22:10

In reply to op - Nope

MrsBadger · 26/10/2007 22:41

do they need to nest?
we just have three small tables...

I mean avoid these, but something neutralish thus might do

I've seen the acrylic ones somewhere recently - will try and track them down...

MrsBadger · 26/10/2007 22:43

aha

MrsBadger · 26/10/2007 22:46

or the 'loop' ones bottom left here are rather neat

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 26/10/2007 22:48

Chunky or Austin Powers?

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 26/10/2007 22:49

More glass

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 26/10/2007 22:51

White glass. OOh - leather (how practical)

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 26/10/2007 22:53

More leather (well, faux leather). Lol - 'faux crocodile'

MrsBadger · 26/10/2007 22:53

to my shame I found myself going ooh those would match our bin

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 26/10/2007 22:54

Dark wood

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 26/10/2007 22:55

I quite liked those too, MrsB - but they'd get ruined in no time. Lovely with the smooth new sheen on them though.

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 26/10/2007 22:55

(that's - they'd get ruined in no time in our house, anyway - yours is probably less chaotic than ours)

Your final ones Jackie I think are most likely for our room - dark wood. And the smallest could be good for putting feet on but I'm still not convinced.

None-nesting tables sound more tasteful but do take up more space.

I'd just like somewhere to put my wine glass

Fair trade tables from Myakka (not just this style, there's loads others).
