Hi, happy new year to you all.

Can I please ask for any recommendations for decent bath mats? We have tried few including microfibre ones but none are great at really being absorbant and quick to dry.. I maybe asking for skmethat doesn't exist but any suggestions welcome.

I have bought some thick cotton mats like the ones you find in hotels. They were about £5 each and because they're just white cotton, they can be washed and dried with towels. They're not luxurious, but easy to wash and quick to dry.

Definitely thick cotton mats and wash regularly with the towels. Synthetic ones don’t absorb water properly.

We got this bamboo one which is really thick and absorbent and doesn't get smelly as quickly, still worth washing regularly with towels though.

We have them in the girls’ bathroom, who seem to be able to get litres of water on the floor after any bath or shower.

Cork bath mats, wouldn't ever buy anything else. But get a thick one at least 15mm
