What's the best oven cleaner?

I have a black puddle of I don't know what baked onto the metal tray and the base of my oven and Mr Sheen oven cleaner made no impact on it at all. I'd love to have a shiny, clean oven. Any ideas?

Oven Mate. I've seen it elsewhere too. It's pretty strong stuff but doesn't smell at all chemical-ly.
