we have a really old cottage where the walls are really wonky and upstairs the windows come in at the bottom so the curtains/blind touches it so when we get condensation (all the bloody time!) they get wet and mouldy. its completely vile

how can i clean them? or cant i?
i know what i need to do next is to put curtain poles up instead of track so they dont touch the window. maybe even {shudders} some kind of nets. what do you think?

I have sprayed the back of mine with the mould and mildew remover that you get in sprays (think its detol based). It has worked a treat and never left stains on the lining. Don't know how it would work on roller blinds though. Might be worth a try if there are no other suggestions though.

Ahh, the joys of an old house!
