Steam cleaner recommendations?

Hi,

I’m thinking of treating myself to a steam cleaner (what a treat! Grin) has anyone got one they particularly recommend- or one they would avoid?!

I’m looking in particular to steam clean the floor as kids and dogs are walking through mud/wetness every day Sad although if I can use one for the bathroom too that would be a bonus.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'd recommend a carpet cleaner instead if it's for carpets.

Don't know if you're still looking, OP, but I have used my handheld Simbr steam cleaner for all sorts - bathroom floors, ovens, grotty neglected tops of kitchen units, carpets, the neglected inside rims of PVC windows, upholstery, fridges and freezers...It comes with lots of attachments, but mostly I use the default nozzle. It won't replace elbow grease where that is needed but it certainly helps and you can get into horrible little crevices. It cost less than £40 off Amazon. Good luck! January is a good time to tackle such jobs.

Thanks- I’ll check it out Smile

Can it be used for freshening up a fabric sofa? It's not stained, but I can't take the covers off to wash or I'll never get them on again. Smile
