Cleaning toilets with Steradent

I've bought some of this as I've heard that it's good for getting limescale off toilets. What's the best way to do that?. Dissolve in warm water and put in overnight? How many tablets?

Watching because I did not know this, I have this problem and I have some in the cupboard, strangely!

There's plenty of water in the loo already. I just throw a couple in and let them sit till I remember, then give it a scrub around with the loo brush and flush.

You may need to repeat or use more, depending on how bad it is. You won't do any harm by using more though.

I leave them overnight. It’s great stuff - removed water stains too

I live in a hardwater area & am a professional cleaner. Unfortunately it didn't work at all up here. Best thing is empty the water out & either harpick black OR viakal left overnight.

We had a loo that has periods of not being used. Cistern was solid with crystals inside and loo bowl so I filled it all with neat vinegar and left it for a month. Absolutely radical result.

If it doesn't work, thank you too for the other suggestions

I use them with bleach and just leave it to sock for a bit. Works quite nicely imo

MistleTOEboughski · 23/12/2020 21:47

It's fine but don't start cleaning your false teeth with Harpic.

greeneyedlulu · 23/12/2020 21:59

Soak not sock!!!
