How much Christmas bonus should I give?

My mum has a cleaner, £20 a week and I have a gardener, every fortnight, £20. How much should we give as a bonus?

Ooh, I'm not sure what the etiquette is, but I give my cleaner the same amount as her weekly salary again in a Christmas card saying thank you for her work over the year.

I would never think to do it to be honest, if I had one! I don't get a bonus myself so it doesn't particularly cross my mind. I might give a card or chocolate. I'm sure anything you give would be appreciated.

Weekly salary in a Christmas card here too given on her last visit before Christmas. Not sure if it is the etiquette but our cleaner is lovely and deserves it.
