Recycle your Condensor Dryer Water

Tip for you we have a condensor Dryer that collects water from the dryer into a container.
Instead of throwing this water away down the the drain we use for the following.
We have an electric fire a Dimplex Danville Opti Myst that has a water tank with a transducer that converts the water to looks like Smoke coming from the plastic coal bed. It truly looks realistic. They recoommend Distilled water. The water has to be mineral free otherwise the mechanisim will seize up. Using the water from the condensor dryer it is filtered in an old Brita water filter to remove any particles of lint after been in the Dryer.
Other uses, Watering the plants around the home, use it in your Iron, Steam mop. Do not use for drinking they will be residue from the washing machine in this water.
Any other suggestions?

You're mad. It's not suitable.for watering plants or using in steamers and irons which even state that in their guide books. Google recyclong tumble dryer water and you will see ita not fit for anything but down the drains.

We used ours to water a patch of hedge that never gets any rain and I otherwise forget to water.
Hedge is doing fine after 5yrs but I now have to remember to water it as dryer broke last month and the replacement plumbs into the drain.
Our previous dryer suggested that you use the water to water plants or iron with in the manual.
