On Saturday I descaled the kettle, but took my eye off it while it was boiling afterwards and it boiled over.
The kettle did get wet inside but it's been dried out and seems to be working fine. However I noticed today that the metal parts under the kettle that fit into the base power supply are rusty when they weren't before. Is it dangerous to keep using it like that?
I have Googled but it just seems to bring up about rust inside the kettle.
