What could these marks on washed clothes be?

Clean t shirt was put in washing machine to freshen up and came out with these marks. I used a washing gel pod in the wash and fabric conditioner in the drawer. Could it be the residue from the pod perhaps? Anyone had something similar happen? DD is upset as her shirt is ruined :(

It’s possible, rub well with talcum powder then washing up liquid and then wash again with powder. If it is residue that should get it out.

If it's a pattern of brown droplets, when I had that it was a bearing which had worn out and the oil was coming through the holes in the drum onto the washing during the wash. Is your washing machine very noisy?
