Citric acid (Wilkins sell it) make into a paste and slather on, leave overnight or for as long as possible. This will harden but clear the limescale, dampen and scrub with a cloth around the bowl and under the rim - give it a flush and all should be sparkling. Once this is done you can make up a spray, citric acid and warm water, can be used daily to keep the limescale at bay.
For the toilet seat I use sodium percarbonate (it’s the main ingredient in Vanish oxy) and is nature’s bleach, one tablespoon to a bowl of warm water for the toilet, ending with the seat.
I’ve been “green cleaning” since it’s lockdown, no coughing when cleaning the bathroom or cooker now!!

Thats sounds good will have to look for some as have limescale that never clears fully and then spray to use regulary
How long does it last when made up or do you do fresh every time

I've tried a few of the cheaper ones (some are ridiculously expensive) and I've found Ecover the best. I live in a really hard water area.

The black ecover one. It's fantastic
