Glass on washing machine door scratched - what now

Got a Indesit washing machine/dryer - had it for a few years.
I did a wash and the machine jumped.
When doing another wash later in the day, I noticed that the glass on the inside of the door was scraped - two scratches on one downside of the door and few more little ones. Those two are neither particularly deep, but obviously scratched.

I'm wondering if I need to replace the glass. I'm feeling a bit paranoid about (a) getting glass on my clothes and (b) the strength of the glass bit being compromised. I am not sure if that is a glass or hard plastic, looks glass to me so..

I can't find replacement glass for my exact model of washing machine (I think it might be a bit old). And if the drum were to play up again, I don't know how long it would be pristine for!
In the meantime I have laundry backing up ..

What do you reckon?

I wonder how the jump caused it to scratch? Was there something heavy it which also scratched it?

I have to say I wouldn’t worry that it was going to break, if the scratches aren’t deep. I would also think it’s plastic. I doubt bits will come off it, but I would want to work out why it happened in the first place.

I'd not be at all worried. That glass is under so little stress.

I dont think it would cross my mind to do anything except use the machine as normal!

Mines been searched for years, never been an issue

The protocol for this is:

1 - Notice and be vaguely annoyed
2 - remind DH to take things out of his pockets (tradesman, so often screws)
3 - forget about it

Same here.

Haha, thank you. I am concerned due to high vibrations during tumbling or due to high temperatures during drying that it could crack more or break.. meh :/ Hmm Confused
