Does anyone have one of these and would recommend it? I need a new vacuum and tempted by the anti hair wrap etc. It's a Shark NZ801. Thanks! https://sharkblackfriday.co.uk/?promoproduct=NZ801UKTDB&gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=CjwKCAiA5IL-BRAzEiwA0lcWYmlUCXq0555G3R2uGDPDwGLlow1qul5Cc3fllXZO9GEkzkIVB2n7hoCsowQAvDD_BwE

I do t have that exact model but have a cordless anti wrap I love it very powerful and you can turn it into a handheld very easily.

I have a Shark cordless anti wrap and I love it. My 2 daughters and I all have long hair and I spend a lot of time cutting long coils of hair from the clogged vacuum cleaner brushes. The Shark doesn’t completely Eli I ate this but it’s much, much better than the Miele or Sebo I normally used.

In fact I love it so much I ordered 2 more in the BF sale for two other properties we own.

sqirrelfriends · 28/11/2020 14:37

Sooty to hijack your thread but does the anti wrap actually work? I was really tempted because of this but Amazon is full of reviews saying they still get hair wrapped around the brush.

CharlieandLolaCat · 28/11/2020 14:39

I think I have this but 2 yrs ago. I have long haired cats and it is amazing on carpets, less good on hard floors but I can live with it. Does that help?

astridforty · 28/11/2020 14:41

I have this one, it’s brilliant - my favourite household appliance. Just be warned, it’s very heavy.

MrsOrMiss · 28/11/2020 14:48

I love my shark. The hair wrap does work, but the hair gets dislodged over a few uses.
My DD has really long hair, even after she left home I was still cutting the wrapped hair from my hoover. It's no longer an issue with Sharkie. She's also just bought a Shark, she's in love and amazed how much cleaner her floors are now - and no hair wrapped around the roller.

Mindymomo · 28/11/2020 14:58

I have a shark but in my opinion it’s not as good as my old dyson. I know they are not made as powerful though. The anti wrap hair isn’t as good as they say, but the roller is easy to take out. We had a major blockage this week, which was just a build up of dog hair, so why it got stuck I don’t know, had to get a long pipe to dislodge it.

But saying that, we it’s very good at picking up and the lift away is easy.

MrsTravers · 28/11/2020 15:05

I haven't got that one but bought a Liftaway a couple of weeks back after my old Henry died. It had been dying for a while but I was impressed/disgusted/slightly fascinated by the sheer amount of stuff that has come out of the carpet.

I second that they can be heavy but think it's worth it and you can at least take the lift away apart so that's less of an issue. Antiwrap also working really well thus far, despite cat and 2 long-haired DDs

Catsup · 28/11/2020 15:14

I have an anti hair wrap model and I really like it. Also the lift away is great for the stairs and corners of ceilings. As pp's said it is heavy and can feel a bit of a chore to push it, but I love the power it has and the headlights are pretty nifty too.

Twinmama32 · 02/12/2020 10:15

I have the lift away with hair wrap and I love it, very powerful. Makes dyson, Henry look terrible by comparison!
I still have to cut out hair from mine though, not sure if I’m doing something wrong!

AlwaysLatte · 02/12/2020 10:21

I have the lift away. It's definitely the best hoover I've ever had. My mum has the cordless anti hair wrap and I'm thinking getting one of those as well, she thinks it's brilliant (and light),

bebarkered · 05/12/2020 07:40

I've got Shark Lift Away. It's AMAZING. Yes, anti hair wrap works perfectly. I've got 2 Dyson uprights and one Dyson cordless and none of them can touch the Shark. All of my Dysons cannot clean a hard floor. The Shark can! It's tricky to steer at times, but, the payoff is phenomenal
