Pans for glass job

Hi all.

I'm in the market for some new pans! But I have a a Schott Ceran ceramic hob.

Now, the instructions say not to use aluminium based pans on it and to use enamel covered or stainless steel, but I've been online and confused myself silly as everything is conflicting.

Could those of you with experience of ceramic (glass) hobs let me know what has worked for you?

I'm hoping to get a deal on Black Friday. I really want some strab or le creuset but don't want to make an expensive mistake.

Just seen my typo in the title, and just realised a similar thread has been posted about induction hobs. Seems like I'm not the only one who needs new kitchenware.

All pans should have a symbol to show which hobs they work on. If you are buying, the information should be on the packaging. My pans are stainless steel and came free with my hob. Aluminium doesn't conduct the heat so avoid them.

Thanks @Ismellphantoms. I'll look up the symbols.
