How to get grease off of oven tray?

The tray in the bottom of the oven is caked in greased. Have tired using oven cleaners but not worked. Managed to get some of it off by scraping with a knife but ideally don't want to keep doing this. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove it?!

Warm the oven (so you can still touch it) then rub over half a lemon and squeeze out the juice onto the tray. Sprinkle over a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda, mix with the lemon juice and rub around the oven tray with the half of lemon (this should be nice and manky now). Leave for a few minutes, keep wiping and scooping up the gunge with kitchen roll, then wash with soapy water and rinse clean with a water.

Is it removable? If so soak in hot bath for 30mins. If not, try baking soda paste?

Only thing I have ever found to really work on any welded on grease is a metal scourer, a bit o washing up liquid and a lot of elbow grease. Brilliant on metal racks etc.

Oven Pride liquid - but when you've done it, get one of those black teflon sheets for the bottom of the oven (the gunk slides right off them)

Glass scrapers work really well I’ve been using mine all over the place for ancient paint drips etc. Very satisfying and about £2!

I second Oven Pride.

Astonishing results, you don’t even have to scrub, just rinse off.
