mat to stand boots on at back door

With DH working from home and DS furloughed, they've been going out for a walk most lunchtimes and coming home with wet and muddy footwear.
I'm not complaining at all; I do it regularly myself. When it was just my footwear, it didn't seem so bad but now that there can be three or even 4 pairs of wet and muddy shoes/boots at the back door, drying on sheets of yesterday's newspaper, it's looking a tad naff.

I've seen some boot trays that have a raised level to allow the soles to dry and mud to drop off but as I can't shop in person at the moment and I'm notoriously bad for choosing well when buying on line, I'd like to ask for any recommendations.

We have a similar rack to pp, wall mounted. All shoes are up out of the way ( although muddy water drips onto the floor below)

The Ikea one is more what I had in mind.
The shoes/boots won’t stay at the back door. It just somewhere for them to dry off.

I didn’t realise Ikea deliver to the local Sainsbury’s so it seems like a no brainier to at least try the Ikea one (£4:50 including the delivery cost)

can't praise these rugs highly enough ... living in the sticks there are always muddy boots trekking in/out the house (even had a pheasant poo on one once!). I have two and they are great; hard wearing, washable, lots of sizes & colours plus there's a 15% discount on your first order ....

We have a rug at the back door very similar to those (a Turtle one) but we're looking for something a little different for the boots.
