Vases - where to store?

I'm having a lock down cull of surplus stuff and have got stuck on my vase collection. I love gardening and flowers and over the years have accumulated quite a large collection of different sized vases. I intend to lose some of them but where do you store your empty vases? On display with no flowers seems a bit sad, but they take up a lot of storage space if hidden away. Ideas very welcome!

I shove mine in a kitchen cupboard but I don't have that many. If yours are sort of garden related, I winder if you might store them with your gardening things - on a shelf or rack in a shed, for example?

That's a good idea - thanks.

I use the top shelves of my kitchen cupboards for this sort of thing - I'm short so those shelves are no use for things that are used regularly. Our other go-to place for storage is built in wardrobes. We have a brilliant one with cubbies all down one side and a couple of massive shelves over.

We've got a smallish, deep window ledge at the side of the house in the dining room - I keep mine there mixed in with various other small clear or blue glass items (all my vases are glass or blue ceramic).

If you have an interesting selection I’d display them as a collection either in a glass fronted cabinet, or on a secure shelf.

There's a cupboard under my sink that goes into a corner, not useful for things you need everyday, but also out of the way and not likely to knocked.

Vases are all in the corner. I keep things in baskets on the top shelf and in a cleaning caddy on the bottom shelf so when I want a vase it's easy to lift everything out to get to them.

I have mine on top of my book cases in lounge. Have uplighters on top of bookcases as well as downlights inside, so makes a nice feature of them. I did cull them by 25% before, as you are doing now OP. So only the ones that 'spark joy', as well as being functional, remain
