Zoflora help?

What do I do with a bottle of zoflora?
If you use it please can you tell me what it has replaced for you in your cleaning supply and why it is the wonder product it is billed to be? Thanks!

It's just disinfectant. I always keep a bottle of the 'cotton' one in the back of the cupboard, for nostalgic reasons (it's what my Grandma used to use, so reminds me of her). I tend to use detol though for when I need to disinfect something (if we've had a sickness bug for example). Day to day I mop & wipe down with hot soapy water with a couple of drops of essential oil in for scent (Thyme, as it's cat & dog safe) as we have pets so less worry & I don't need to keep them out until it's dry.

It's brilliant for eliminating odours. I put a couple of capfuls in the bucket and mop all the floors and the house smells lovely. Great for soft furnishing cleaning

Put it in the steam cleaner for the floors.

In a spray bottle to wipe up puppy accidents.

A few drops on cotton wool put behind the radiator will make a room smell nice. Add a few drops to your washcloth or in the sink too.

This all sounds great to me. Can I clean sides, floors, bathrooms with it too?

I always add it to simple washing up liquid so it's pretty cheap and avoids serious chemicals, to clean everything

dumpling123 · 16/11/2020 12:18

I put a capful in the washing machine with towels

Domesticgodmess · 20/11/2020 21:50

@dumpling123 do you put it in one of the washing machine drawers?

I have a few different ones but don't really use it so this thread is good to read.

VanCleefArpels · 20/11/2020 21:56

I dilute it and use in my spray mop with a micro fibre pad - cleans and leaves a scent for ages. Also put a capful down plug holes to disinfect/deodorise

Just pop it into the softener section of the drawer. Used to use vinegar instead of softener but now I have a tumble dryer, I find the towels are soft enough once tumbled

nevernotstruggling · 20/11/2020 22:02

I put it in with the powder or the softener I don't think it matters.

I wipe the dining table and the sink with it.

Be careful putting it in the steam mop you will break it. I did!

Domesticgodmess · 20/11/2020 22:32

Thanks @dumpling123 and @nevernotstruggling I have a load of towels to do tomorrow morning so will choose a Zoflora scent!

I add a capful to my spray bottle of `Koh cleaner. It smells nice and makes the Koh a sanitiser as well as a cleaner. Like other people I also use it in the fabric conditioner compartment of the washing machine.
