6 hours to myself

Tomorrow I have the absolute luxury of 6 guaranteed hours to myself as my husband is actually going into the office rather than working from the spare room.

Now I just need to decide what to do with myself. The whole house needs attention, we had a new kitchen fitted in October and nothing has really been straight or properly clean (except the kitchen) since. I'm always so conscious of how much noise I'm making, not able to get to the things I need as they're in the spare room etc.

So what would be on your essential list to do tomorrow? Hoovering is definite, washing machine and tumble drier will be going all day, but now I'm stuck. Do I concentrate on one room, do an hour in each room, put everything away and try to clean over the weekend?

Are you sure you want to spend your precious time to yourself by clearing and cleaning for 6 hours? I would probably do 3 hours and relax in a clean room for three hours.

It also depends on how much clutter you have and what your priorities are. Could you have a little think about what you want to realistically achieve and what your main stressors are?
