Natural cleaning ideas

Hi there

Trying to cut down on chemicals so have switched to mainly ecover with some tescos natural stuff for washing and cleaning etc (tried ecoballs, not happy with them). I seem to recall that bicarbonate of soda and vinegar can be used for cleaning but don't know how - can anyone enlighten me?

Also, not strictly speaking housekeeping but can anyone recommend any good (not too pricey) sources of shampoos etc that are not chock full of SLS and other nasties? In France the supermarkets all sell ranges that are free of it but I am an avid label reader and find that even the so called "natural" ranges have all this in!

Thanks

Boots sell a range called Naked that are cruelty free and sls free afaik. Also, try your local independent health food shop for shampoos etc that are sls free.
Have you tried soapnuts for your laundry?
