Yes and yes

I have streamlined mine but still have some that I watch/listen to. Obviously if you dont actually use them it's a waste of space though. I play my CDs whilst folding my laundry.

Oh and I'm one of those ppm who likes to watch things over and over so my DVDs get a lot of use (most aren't on Netflix).

We go to a lot of jazz gigs (not since March, obvs) and buy CDs at the end of the evening, directly from the bands we've enjoyed. They sell them to supplement their sparse incomes, we buy and play them as a reminder of good times and to support live music.

I love classic movies and documentaries that come with classic movies on DVDs so there is no way I'm getting rid of my collection.

There is not a single of my films on Amazon or Netflix. I feel sorry for future generations because the way things are going they will think film industry started in 21st century.

I still have and buy dvds (usually secondhand, v cheap!) and very occasionally CDs. I like having dvds as you get extras and when the kids were younger they could just watch their favourites without asking, so we are all in the habit.

I'm sure I will eventually move on, I am naturally buying fewer as I watch more online, but there's something about them I like. We are not hoarders though, if I get a DVD for 50p from the charity shop it nearly always goes back after watching.
